This year’s event will be impacted by the measures that will be implemented to ensure that the risks of COVID-19 transmission are brought to the minimum possible level.
We will always comply with the government requirements and follow industry best practice.
We are developing a series of measures to respond to the challenges presented by the pandemic. We will ensure that the new protocols and actions are as effective and practical as possible.
As the situation is constantly evolving, so is our response strategy. We will provide more details as soon as possible; but here are a some of the aspects that we are working on:
Testing and Vaccination
We are monitoring the situation and possible requirements in regards to vaccination, preliminary and onsite rapid testing.
We are assessing the adaptations that will affect the layout of the site such as gates layouts, car parks, campsite layouts and crowd flows around the site.
Arrival and accreditation procedures will also be affected.
Cleaning, Hygiene and Sanitation
We will implement enhanced cleaning regimes throughout the site, with particular attention focused on high touch surfaces and sanitation facilities.
We will be deploying additional toilets, handwashing and hand sanitation facilities throughout the site.
We are working with our service providers, traders and caterers to ensure suitable and sufficient controls are implemented.
Medical and Welfare
We are carrying out a comprehensive evaluation with our medical and welfare partners to adapt the provisions at the festival and establish suitable protocols.

The government and the event industry are assessing the effect of the national vaccination programme on large scale gatherings, including live events and festivals. Test pilot events will be taking place and a scientific Events Research Programme will be conducted. The findings from these research and test pilots will determine the requirements affecting festivals. We will release updates on our entry requirements as soon as these are determined.
