Ballet can be seen as high art and this puts some people off, due to the difficulty level of Ballet. However, just like Yoga, Ballet is for everyone and it builds strength, balance, alignment, spatial awareness and much more.
It also requests you control your breathing and focus on the movement, which in turn can be incredibly good for your mental health.
Modern Theatre dance is a rhythmic dance style known for its theatrical qualities, using travelling steps, high kicks, leaps, and turns which all need strength and flexibility. This is a highly energetic dance style. It is good for confidence and a great ego boost.
Elisha has studied both Ballet and Modern Dance from the age of four, has a BA in Dance and is currently training to be a professional Dance Teacher.
