The focus of the integration of mystical/spiritual-type experiences (through psychedelics or otherwise) is often on the individual: we might seek to take up a new practice, to drop a damaging habit, to discard some limiting belief, or to forgive or apologise to someone. These are all valuable ambitions, but what of the collective/communal aspect of integration?
Can spiritual experiences inspire us to come together to take action on the pressing social and environmental issues of our time? And what is the role for people who have had such experiences in activist movements where spiritual experiences are relatively uncommon? Explore these questions and more in this session with Stephen Reid, founder and director of the UK Psychedelic Society.
