Hanna somatic movement is a very accessible and gentle practice which can be surprisingly powerful to release the muscular tension so many of us experience in our bodies. The ways we use our bodies in our day to day life can cause us to hold ourselves and move in unhelpful ways. In this workshop you have the time and space to really listen to your body and find different ways of moving and of being in the world. Thomas Hanna who invented this practice said ” If you can sense it, then you can change it”. So we begin with awareness and learn movements and techniques to take out into your daily life or dance floor!
