‘the passive aggressive political pirate’. Up and coming in the spoken word world, in the last year Bambi has been taking the scene by storm. A young working class single mother and no stranger to estrangement her work draws on themes from poverty to parenthood; weaving her woes into words and morbid merriment. Drawing on her own experiences and stories of those she has met along the way, Bambi finds her healing in adopting a playfulness in her pain, and satirically subjecting the systems and suffering that surrounds her.
