Our bodies store unacknowledged trauma and suppressed emotions. It tries to communicate with us often through pains, butterflies, funny feelings and sicknesses. Wouldn’t it be great to understand what it was trying to tell us? Or even have an open communication channel? Living in alignment with our bodies means strong intuition, better boundary setting, increased empathy and self esteem, healthier living and much more. Re-engage the dialogue between mind and body using a variety of tools that engage the senses. These include yogic movement, somatic practices, sound, scent, imagery and guided meditation. We will establish a baseline, learn to listen to cues and signals, and encourage sensitivity to sensations throughout the body.
Lucy has been listening to her body since a bout of glandular fever in her late teens. It is what led her to yoga, djing, dancing, psychology and somatic therapy. She is passionate about helping people reconnect their mind and bodies, and believes the first step to changing the world is to first listen to our own.
