Since The Stanton Sessions broke cover in 2001, Mark Yardley and Dominic Butler have evolved their undefinable sound through Breaks, Electro, DnB, Garage, Dubstep, Glitch and a whole pile of other genres you could probably make up on the spot, if they hadn’t done so already.
From the raves of East London, through the sands of Black Rock City, to the bedrooms of house parties the world over, the Stanton Warriors make unashamedly, unabashedly lary dance music. From the DJ’s that play their music to the dance floors that lap it up, the Warriors are an inspiration to many, but above all, they are fun, and that is what this festival malarky should all be about at the end of the day. So that is when they’ll be playing, on The Treehouse Stage at Noisily this July.
